Live Water Marbling Art Demonstration
Led by Nakkab, this demonstration focuses entirely on the creative process—how abstract designs are formed using water as the medium. Attendees will see how colors interact, shift, and evolve in real time, offering a deeper understanding of how this technique can translate into tattoo-ready artwork and other creative applications.
This is a visual, hands-on experience designed for artists and creatives who are curious about expanding their process and exploring alternative techniques beyond traditional methods.
Nakkab (@nakkabdoesit) is an NYC based tattoo artist from Istanbul with over 10 years of experience. In this workshop, he will guide participants through his creative process: “Sernakkab”. You will learn the basics of marbling art and create your own patterns to use as tattoo design references!
Nakkab’s unique style brings together Traditional Turkish Marbling and Abstract Minimalism. Blending these two contradicting art forms, he creates bold, decisive and unique abstract tattoos. The session invites both tattoo artists and visitors to experience this innovative process firsthand and see how the technique is applied in contemporary tattooing.

Fire Performances on the Main Stage
Friday: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
A fully immersive fire performance led by Mala, The Fire Faerialist. Blending fire manipulation, intentional movement, and visual storytelling, this feature show explores themes of transformation, power, and embodiment.
Through dynamic choreography and striking stage presence, fire becomes both medium and message, creating a captivating, high-impact experience for the audience.
SATURDAY: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Living Canvas: Fire & Creation
A live art activation where performance and painting merge in real time. Mala creates an original canvas piece throughout the evening, using movement, fire elements, and paint to capture the energy of the space as it unfolds.
Guests are invited to participate by entering a raffle for the chance to win the final artwork created live on-site. This one-of-one piece becomes a reflection of the night, making it both a performance and a collectible experience.
SUNDAY: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
The Rose Ritual
A powerful closing performance centered on symbolism, sensuality, and transformation.
Through fire, movement, and intentional staging, Mala delivers a striking final act that explores themes of creation, release, and rebirth~ offering a memorable and visually compelling finale to the weekend.

How it Works
Each team works on one canvas:
- Friday: The first artist starts the foundation
- Saturday: The second artist builds and adds depth
- Sunday (morning): The final artist completes the piece
By Sunday, each canvas becomes a full collaboration between three different artists.

On Sunday, during the main tattoo competition, all five final pieces will be judged live based on:

Charity Auction
After judging, all five pieces will be auctioned, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Academy Prep. This is about bringing art, community, and purpose together.
